Start Of The Week: Matthew Stafford vs Indianapolis Colts
Fun Fact: every time I have put Stafford as 'Start Of The Week' he's flopped. Yet, I keep coming back. What can I say? I believe in the guy; this season more than ever. In one game as a Ram, he posted a career-high passer rating (156.1, near perfect). In case that went over your head, in 11 seasons with the Lions, Stafford didn’t achieve what he did in just one game with the Rams. He dropped 300+ yards, three TD's, and 24.3 points in said game. I find it hard to believe Stafford is projected less than Ben Roethlisberger, Baker Mayfield and Teddy Bridgewater by ESPN this week, despite facing a Colts defense that was most recently lit up by Russell Wilson for 250+ yards and four TD's. And yet…

Sit Of The Week: Derek Carr vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Fun fact: every time I have put Carr as 'Sit Of The Week' he has made me look dumb. Hopefully we have a few streak-breakers this week, eh? Sure, he’s currently leading the league in passing yards. But against a Steelers defense that held an AFC championship-level Bills offense (who averaged 31.3 PPG in 2020) to just 16 points in week one, I’m gonna go ahead and say Carr doesn’t repeat his performance. If Josh Allen can't manage more than 18 points (with 40+ rushing yards) against the Steelers, I don’t see Carr managing 15.8 (his ESPN projection). BUT... Because I said something, Carr will be the only QB to put up 20+ points against Pittsburgh in nearly two seasons. Watch.
