Start Of The Week: Cardinals D/ST vs Detroit Lions
The Lions will once again be without their best players (Hockenson, Swift). The Cardinals defense (fourth-highest scoring fantasy D/ST) is usually a no-brainer. But this week they’re even more of a no-brainer.
The Browns have been ransacked by Covid. You see the injury report, you probably think, "Raiders could be a sneaky play this week !"... Don’t. The Raiders have given up 33 points (or more) in four of their last five games. That includes two games where they gave up a 40-bomb. They finished with negative fantasy points three times during that span. Even though the Browns might be fielding a scout team offense with third-string QB Nick Mullens, I wouldn’t try my luck. The Browns have proven more than capable of doing more with less this season. Plus, Mullens actually isn’t too bad (could probably start over anyone on the Jets) and they still have Nick Chubb. I’m confidently taking the under on an ESPN projection of 5.1 this week.
