Don't make me pull up the Belichick against rookie QB numbers, because I will. Zach Wilson is a promising talent, but he definitely has some work to do. I suspect Bill and the gang make it hard on him in this one and force a few rookie mistakes out of the young buck. If the Panthers can manage 11 points against the Jets in week one, I think the Pats have it in them to beat their ESPN projection of 7.1 points in week two.
The Colts were one of the standout defenses from last season. But this week, they are in danger of missing their star linebacker Darius Leonard. Even with him on the field, I don't love their chances of getting over 6.0 points against a Rams offense that looked damn-near flawless in week one.
