Start of the week: Jamison Crowder vs Miami Dolphins
With at least ten targets, seven catches and 100 yards in every game he's played this season, Crowder is a virtual must-start regardless of matchup. It helps to know he is playing against a Dolphins team that has been vulnerable to the slot this season. Miami allows the fourth-most slot receptions, which is primarily where Crowder operates. Despite missing two games, Crowder has the fourth-most receiving yards out of the slot this season. Considering he's beaten his ESPN projection of 13.6 points in every game this year, I'm taking the over here.
Others to consider: Chase Claypool (PIT) - @CLE, Devante Parker (MIA) - NYJ, Justin Jefferson (MIN) - ATL
Sit of the Week: DJ Moore vs Chicago Bears
Normally, sitting a player as talented as Moore is ill-advised. But this week, he’ll be matched up with a Bears defense allowing the second-least fantasy points to WR's and just one WR TD this year. Moore has had more than four catches in a game just once this season, is averaging just five targets per game the past three weeks, which is worse than any three game stretch he had all of 2019. The Bears are allowing a completion on just 55.2 percent of passes targeting WR's. They held Mike Evans to just 41 yards last week. The more you look, the less inviting this matchup becomes. If you’re expecting an output from Moore similar to last week, you might be disappointed.
Others to consider: Julian Edelman (NE) - DEN, Brandon Aiyuk (SF) - LAR, Tyler Boyd (CIN) - @IND
