Lets try this again. Last week, I got the WR 'Start Of The Week’ wrong when I picked a Bengals WR. Well, instead of Tyler Boyd, this week I’m going to go with Ja'maar Chase. Last week, my argument was that Boyd was first in the pecking order and Chase would be last after a rough offseason. It seemed to be the opposite in week one as Chase led all Cincinatti pass catchers in targets, catches, receiving yards and, most surprisingly of all, snaps. For as good as Cincy's WRs are, Chase possesses the tools, talent and opportunity to emerge as the best of the bunch. I like him to beat his ESPN projection of just 13.3 points this week against a Chicago secondary that allowed TDs to WRs Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods AND Van Jefferson in week one.
Others to consider: Mike Evans (TB) - ATL, Devonta Smith (PHI) - SF, Jarvis Landry (CLE) - HOU
Sit Of The Week: Devante Parker vs Buffalo Bills
Parker has proved capable of overcoming tough matchups in the past, but considering the way Tua looked last week, playing against a Buffalo defense that refused to allow more than 50 yards to JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool or Diontae Johnson on a combined 22 targets, I'd rather Parker prove me wrong from the bench than flop in my lineup. It wouldn't take much for him to beat his ESPN projection of 12.5 points but it seems like a risky bet.
Others to consider: Brandon Aiyuk (SF) - @PHI, Robby Anderson (CAR) - @NO, Michael Pittman (IND) - LAR
